Position Summary:
Villanova University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Introductory American Sign Language (ASL) for undergraduate courses only. The specific courses are introduction to ASL I and ASL II.
Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University's mission and values.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught.
Minimum Qualifications:
Deaf, ASL-fluent preferred; CODA considered; MA preferred but will consider BA or BS with evidence of teaching experience, not necessarily college. The applicant must be committed to excellence in teaching.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience preferred.
