The Chinese Kitchen Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a small kitchen team (1-5 members) specializing in Asian cuisine. Reporting to the Deli Leader, this role ensures high-quality food preparation, maintains kitchen safety standards, manages inventory, and coordinates regularly with suppliers. The lead fosters team development through training and aims to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction using specialized Asian cooking appliances.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of authentic Asian dishes
- Maintain and enforce strict quality control and kitchen safety standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies regularly from vendors
- Train and support kitchen team members to enhance skills and efficiency
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of ingredients
