Dental Laboratory Processor Technician | Entry-Level Dental Lab Technician
Join Our Dental Laboratory Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Processor Technician to join our team and support the fabrication of high-quality dental prosthetics and dentures. This entry-level position performs essential dental laboratory processing tasks, including pouring and trimming denture models, articulating dental cases, polishing dentures, and assisting with various stages of dental prosthetic production.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career as a Dental Laboratory Technician, Denture Technician, or Dental Prosthetics Technician. Job Summary
The Dental Laboratory Processor Technician supports dental technicians throughout the denture fabrication process by preparing models, articulating cases, polishing dental prosthetics, and completing other laboratory production tasks.
The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn and cross-train in multiple areas of the dental laboratory.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Pour dental impressions into plaster to create accurate denture models.
  • Trim and prepare plaster models for denture fabrication and further laboratory processing.
  • Articulate dental cases according to established laboratory procedures.
  • Polish dentures and dental prosthetics to meet laboratory quality standards.
  • Assist with the preparation, processing, and finishing of dental prosthetics.
  • Perform various dental laboratory processing duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all stages of laboratory production.
  • Follow established OSHA protocols and dental laboratory safety procedures.
  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the dental laboratory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with dental laboratory technicians and team members to complete cases accurately and efficiently.
  • Meet established quality and production standards.

Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Experience
  • 0-6 months of experience trimming and pouring denture models preferred.
  • Previous plaster bench experience preferred.
  • Prior dental laboratory, dental assisting, manufacturing, production, or other hands-on technical experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience working with dental models or prosthetic materials is beneficial.
