$19.00 - $27.55

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist, and according to state and federal laws, performs a variety of tasks according to policies and procedures. The entry-level role requires the ability to perform mathematical calculations, knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology along with an understanding of the pharmacy dispensing responsibilities necessary to comply with state and federal regulations.

Education Qualifications
  • Illinois: At least 16 years of age and is attending or graduated from high school or GED equivalency is required.
  • Wisconsin: At least 18 years of age and has graduated from high school or GED equivalency is required or enrolled in an approved youth apprenticeship program approved by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year pharmacy experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Licensed or registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice is required. IL: May work in a license pending status for up to 60 days. WI: May work in a pending status until registration is approved.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician achieved within 12 months of hire or enrolled in Doctorate of Pharmacy Program is preferred.
