General Laborer
Location: Livonia, MI
Job Type: Full-Time 1st Shift 6am-230pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Position SummaryCardinal Staffing is seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers to join our production team. This entry-level position plays an important role in supporting daily operations within our food production facility. Team members will assist with food packaging, product inspection, sanitation, and general production duties while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Pack and label food products according to company specifications and production standards.
  • Load and unload products from production lines and workstations.
  • Weigh, sort, inspect, and organize products to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operate basic production equipment and hand tools under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment throughout each shift.
  • Follow all company policies related to food safety, sanitation, quality control, and workplace safety.
  • Work efficiently in a refrigerated production environment.
  • Perform repetitive tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday.
  • Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Complete additional production or warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • No previous experience required-paid training is provided.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, refrigerated production environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive work ethic.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to assist wherever needed.
