Tree Specialists, Inc. is a well-established company dedicated to providing expert tree care services. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Arborist Trainee to join our growing team. This is an entry-level opportunity with no prior experience required—ideal for individuals seeking to start a rewarding career in arboriculture or transition into a skilled trade. As an Arborist Trainee, you will receive hands-on training from experienced professionals, learning essential skills such as tree climbing, rigging, pruning, plant health care, and safety protocols. Our supportive environment offers a clear path for advancement and professional growth, including company-supported credentialing and the opportunity to earn a Class B CDL within six months. Responsibilities
  • Participate in hands-on training to learn tree climbing, rigging, and pruning techniques under the guidance of experienced crew members
  • Assist with ground support tasks, including debris handling, equipment care, and site cleanup
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site by following all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members and crew leaders to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Contribute to team productivity and customer satisfaction by working efficiently and professionally
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor in all seasons
