Plumbing Apprentice – Entry Level

Mountain Valley Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Pay: $19–$23 per hour

No Plumbing Experience Required | Paid On-the-Job Training

Position Summary

Mountain Valley Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for a dependable, hardworking person who wants to learn the plumbing trade and build a long-term career.

No previous plumbing experience is required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in working with their hands.

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced plumbers while learning residential plumbing installation and service. As your skills develop, you will be given increasing responsibility and the opportunity to begin performing minor service calls independently.

What You'll Do
  • Assist experienced plumbers with residential plumbing service and installation
  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
  • Help install and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, and other plumbing systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs
  • Maintain clean and organized jobsites and work vehicles
  • Learn proper use of plumbing tools and equipment
  • Learn Mountain Valley installation and service standards
  • Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
  • Perform minor plumbing or drain-service calls as your skills develop
  • Complete assigned training and demonstrate increasing technical ability
