Job description

1. Position Summary

The Sales Apprentice program is designed to develop the next generation of Brehob sales professionals through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world exposure to our customers, products, and service lines. This entry-level role supports Territory Managers and Customer Service Teams while learning Brehob’s sales process, CRM discipline, and Core Values — Drive, Grit, Smarts, Backbone, and Collective Strength. The program prepares the apprentice to transition into a full-time Territory Manager role upon successful completion.


2. Key Responsibilities

Sales Development & Training

· Participate in structured sales training sessions covering Brehob’s products, services, and market segments.

· Shadow Territory Managers on customer visits, site assessments, and service calls to learn relationship management and solution selling.

· Learn and apply Brehob’s sales pipeline process from prospecting to closing.

· Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and customer presentations.

· Complete assigned e-learning, vendor courses, and internal training milestones on schedule.

Customer & Team Support

· Support Territory Managers and CST members by updating CRM data, logging activity, and tracking customer communications.

· Research prospective accounts and assist in lead qualification.

· Help prepare sales reports, dashboards, and meeting summaries.

· Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Service teams to understand project flow and customer expectations.

Operational & Professional Growth

· Attend and contribute to weekly sales meetings and product knowledge sessions.

· Demonstrate progress in technical, sales, and communication skills through regular check-ins with assigned mentor and Regional Sales Manager.

· Uphold Brehob’s safety, compliance, and professionalism standards at all times.

· Participate in community, trade, and company-sponsored events as part of professional development.


3. Key Metrics / Performance Indicators

· Completion of sales and technical training milestones.

· CRM accuracy and activity logging compliance.

· Demonstrated growth in product knowledge and customer engagement.

· Feedback from mentors, Territory Managers, and RSMs.

· Progression toward readiness for a Territory Manager role within 12–18 months.


4. Job Requirements

· Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or Technical discipline ideal).

· Strong interest in industrial sales, technical products, or service-based business.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take direction.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning CRM systems.

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned region for training and customer visits.


5. Work Schedule

· Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

· Some regional travel required for training, customer visits, and company meetings.
