This is a full time 40 hour a week day shift position.

We have an opening for a an Veterinary Attendant. If you are interested in a career in the Animal Health Care Industry, this might be perfect entry level job for you.

Our Angell West Veterinary Clinic Attendant is a position that requires recent experience with different animal species of all sizes and temperaments. Please attach a cover letter to your application detailing your animal care experience. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are important aspects of this position.

Daily duties include walking, feeding, providing overall care and comfort to patients, and documenting medical record information in the hospital computer system. Attendants must be able to identify and report when an animal is not stable and identify and quickly respond to any signs of an animal in distress.

MSPCA-Angell West, located in Waltham, is a 24-hour emergency and referral satellite animal hospital. Angell West was opened in early 2014 by Angell Animal Medical Center. The Waltham hospital is over 17,000 square feet. We are looking for applicants who thrive in a fast paced environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Angell-West has a variety of learning and development opportunities for employees who wish to advance their career in the animal care industry.
