Job Summary:

The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests while ensuring that all areas of the locker room are maintained in a clean, organized, and welcoming manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and other amenities as needed.
  • Ensure that lockers are clean and available for use.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
  • Provide assistance with locker assignments and troubleshooting any locker-related issues.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary and safe locker room.
  • Assist in laundering and folding towels as necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
