Job description

We are a small glass shop in the Wheeling area seeking an experienced glazier or a trainee with hands-on experience eager to learn. This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, performing glass cutting, measuring, and installation tasks. The position requires moderate physical labor and adherence to safety standards. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. A valid driver’s license is required to support the job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Cut and measure glass accurately for various projects
  • Install glass in frames and on-site locations
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols
  • Communicate professionally with customers
  • Work collaboratively within a team and independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in glazier work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in glass cutting, measuring, and fitting preferred but willing to train
