Job description

Aircraft Structural Dynamics Engineer

Location: United States (multiple locations)

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with Aerospace specialization
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Relevant aerospace industry experience
  • Experience with aeroelasticity and aeroservoelasticity analysis
  • Experience performing aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic simulations
  • Experience developing and maintaining finite element models
  • Experience with finite element analysis
  • Experience with Nastran preferred
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures, aerodynamics, control surface actuations, and control laws
  • Experience with dynamic system stability analysis and frequency response calculations
  • Experience supporting ground vibration testing (GVT) and flight flutter testing (FFT)
  • Experience documenting engineering analyses and certification reports
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting engineering software and analysis methods
  • Programming experience in one or more of the following:
    • MATLAB
    • Python
    • Fortran
    • C/C++
  • Knowledge of airworthiness regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and project planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams
