Aircraft Mechanic A&P – Mechanic 1 at CXO MX, Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport

Join the CXO MX team, a proud subsidiary of High Performance Aviation, LLC, and begin your career in aircraft maintenance with a strong foundation. We are looking for a motivated Aircraft Mechanic A&P to work at the Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport. Our focus is on maintaining general aviation piston aircraft to the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Role Overview:

In this entry-level role as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician, you’ll support a wide range of maintenance and inspection tasks while gaining valuable experience under the guidance of senior technicians. This is a great opportunity for newly licensed mechanics looking to grow in a professional GA environment.

Key Requirements:
  • General Aviation Familiarity: Basic understanding of piston aircraft systems and components
  • Maintenance Fundamentals: Comfortable with basic procedures such as oil changes, spark plug servicing, and component removal
  • Professional Attributes: Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in performing 100-hour and annual inspections
  • Remove, replace, and reinstall parts under supervision
  • Perform oil changes, tire and brake servicing, and cleaning tasks
  • Learn and assist with troubleshooting squawks and documenting discrepancies
  • Help maintain shop cleanliness, tool organization, and safety compliance
  • Practice accurate logbook and maintenance tracking entries (non-certifying)
