Job description

What you can expect
We are seeking an innovative and product-driven AI Agent Engineer to design, build, and operationalize autonomous AI agents. In this role, you will go beyond traditional chatbot development to create intelligent systems capable of multi-step reasoning, dynamic tool use, and goal-oriented problem solving. You will bridge the gap between advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) and real-world business systems, building agents that safely and reliably automate complex enterprise tasks.
About the Team
Our GenAI Engineering Team builds AI Companions that help people communicate and collaborate better. We apply the latest AI technology to make communication platforms faster and more productive.
Responsibilities
  • Designing robust agentic architectures, multi-agent systems, and orchestration logic, including core services for runtime, memory, state, tool invocation, sandboxing, and lifecycle management.
  • Building automated evaluation harnesses and observability pipelines to measure and monitor agent accuracy, reasoning capability, latency, and operational cost, ensuring consistent performance in production.
  • Implementing operational guardrails, error handling, human-in-the-loop fallback mechanisms, and access controls to ensure safe, predictable, and compliant agent behavior.
  • Optimizing agent infrastructure for low latency, high throughput, and reliability at scale, collaborating with infrastructure teams for efficient resource utilization and cost management.
  • Partnering with product managers, data scientists, and UX designers to translate workflows into seamless AI-native experiences, shaping strategic planning and technical roadmaps.

What we're looking for
  • Demonstrate expertise in Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar languages, applying software engineering principles to build AI agent systems and multi-agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Have expertise in LLM and agent mechanisms, including LLM API, KV Cache, Agent Loop, Tool Use, Reasoning, Planning, Skills, MCP, Memory, Subagent, and Multi-Agent systems. Exhibit proficiency in Prompt, Context, and Harness Engineering.
  • Demonstrate with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), secondary development and strong grasp of LLM-based reasoning and autonomous agent patterns.
  • Possess experienced in cloud-native AI infrastructure (Kubernetes, vector databases, model serving) and passionate about building intelligent systems that augment human capability and drive impact.
  • Have Bachelor's in Computer Science, AI, ML, Cognitive Science, or equivalent practical experience.
