Secondary Operations
Penn United Technologies is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our Production Manufacturing team in a full-time, entry-level Secondary Operations role. In this role, you'll help ensure our precision parts meet the highest quality standards by cleaning, inspecting, and packaging products safely and efficiently. This position works primarily on rotating daylight and afternoon shifts. If you take pride in quality work, enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate parts cleaning equipment
  • Clean, inspect, sort, and package precision parts
  • Work with area coordinators and management to help meet customer delivery schedules
  • Assist with machine scheduling as needed to support production goals
  • Follow all quality procedures, work instructions, and safety policies
  • Safely handle chemicals used in the parts cleaning process
  • Support other manufacturing activities as needed to help the team achieve production goals

What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent visual inspection skills
  • Good finger dexterity for handling and packaging small precision parts
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately while meeting production goals
  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures
  • High level of focus and concentration
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, primarily daylight and afternoon shifts
  • Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
