Joining a Finance Team of 4, the Accountant will concentrate on 2 elements of the financial function including commercial accounting and management accounts. If you are newly qualified or nearly qualified, and have great management accounting experience with a desire to gain more exposure to the commercial side of things, this could be the perfect role for you.

Role responsibilities: Commercial: Maintaining Cost details of finished products and supporting sales pricing activity Support the business to evaluate new opportunities through clear, concise data analysis Analyse financial/sales data to support decision-making on a sales and cost level Putting together Sales forecasts Maintain summary of Customer contracts to ensure all important terms and conditions and revisions are reflected on to invoices / credit Management Accounting: Ownership of trial balance Intercompany accounts reconciliation Maintaining the fixed asset register Preparation of month-end journals Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation Monthly bank reconciliations including credit card collections and direct debits.

Timely reporting for month end ensuring all receipts and allocations is up to date. Provide support to Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable if required Assisting with the yearly external audit Candidate requirements: Must have strong management accounting experience Ideally some commercial exposure including pricing Qualified or nearly qualified with a few remaining papers Experience using Oracle Cloud accounting system is desirable Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot Tables) High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong customer service approach -- What you need to do now If you're interested in this role please apply and forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
