We are looking for a detail-oriented entry-level Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations in Maryland. This role is well suited for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who can manage transactional activity accurately and maintain organized financial records. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with payables, receivables, and accounting software while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and assist with timely payment of approved obligations.

• Record incoming payments, reconcile customer accounts, and help maintain accurate accounts receivable balances.

• Enter financial data into accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Support routine bookkeeping activities, including account updates, transaction posting, and file maintenance.

• Use QuickBooks to track financial activity, review entries, and help keep records current and organized.

• Assist with invoice handling and related follow-up to ensure billing information is complete and properly documented.

• Review account discrepancies and work with internal contacts to resolve outstanding payment or posting issues.
