Job description

Salary: $19-$20

We are seeking an experienced barista with amazing customer service skills for our on site Coffee Stand to join our team! We are looking for someone to be the customer face of Paradise Pet Lodge to help promote our new coffee and food products as well as support our front office staff with answering phones and responding to emails. An outgoing personality is a must. We are a large, fast paced dog and cat boarding/grooming facility north of Woodinville, WA that prides ourselves in attentive care and great customer service.


  • Starting wage $19 - $20 an hour DOE



Responsibilities include:


  • Engaging with customers as they are waiting for customer service.
  • Offer coffee products and food items available to purchase from the coffee shop
  • Promoting weekly specials
  • Making boarding reservations
  • Scheduling grooming appointments
  • Checking in & out clients
  • Answer the phones
  • Cleaning lobby area
  • Operate and enter in detailed information to our pet care system Atlantis
  • Manage Cash, Check, and Visa transactions
  • Interact and communicate closely with other staff to ensure client and pet needs, and concerns are understood and addressed
  • Obtain vaccination records


Qualifications:


  • Strong customer service experience is required (at least 1 year).
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Passion to care for animals
  • Ability to interact with animals in a caring manner
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Great communication is required
  • Good physical condition; able to stand on feet for entire 6 hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Experience in the animal field is a plus
  • Able to handle dogs 100+ lbs

  • Part time 20 - 28 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, and some Holiday shifts.

Estimated shifts needed:

  • Weekdays: Monday through Friday 7am-1pm or 1pm-7pm
  • Weekends: Saturdays 8am - 4pm
  • Sundays 7am - 1pm or 1pm - 7pm
