Job description


Responsibilities
Maintain and support certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Lead and complete internal audits, compliance audits, and leadership quality audits; ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce quality procedures, work instructions, and acceptance criteria.
• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives and compliance requirements.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
• Lead internal and external customer issue resolution using 8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Kaizen, and Six Sigma tools.
• Drive root cause identification, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify effectiveness.
• Implement Lean principles consistent with the Ammega Production System to reduce waste and variation.
• Promote and sustain 5S and visual management practices.
Manufacturing & Process Quality
• Lead development and implementation of PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, VSM and poka-yoke solutions.
• Analyze process nonconformances, manufacturing scrap, and First Pass Yield (FPY) trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Improve process controls and capability through data analysis and statistical methods.
• Support manufacturing with engineering changes, new process implementation, product transfers, and process validation activities.

• 3+ year of experience with administering and maintaining ISO Certification Systems (Working knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14000, and ISO 45000 standards).
• 5+ years experience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma tools, 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e., 5 Whys, Fishbone (cause & effect) DMAIC, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, and Poka Yoke design.
• Internal Auditor experience is a plus.
