Pay:ย $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for inspiring the next generation of innovators? We are seeking an engaging, knowledgeable, and enthusiasticย Entrepreneurship Instructorย to lead an after-school enrichment program for middle school students.

The instructor will introduce students to the exciting world of entrepreneurship through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and real-world business concepts. Participants will learn how to develop business ideas, identify customer needs, create simple business plans, understand budgeting and marketing basics, and strengthen leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The program encourages creativity, innovation, teamwork, and confidence while helping students explore what it takes to turn ideas into successful ventures.

Program Schedule

  • Location:ย Visalia, CA
  • Dates:ย August 13, 2026 โ€“ September 18, 2026
  • Days:ย Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Time:ย 2:30 PM โ€“ 7:00 PM
  • Grade Levels:ย 7th โ€“ 8th Grade

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging entrepreneurship lessons and interactive business activities.
  • Teach foundational business concepts, including idea generation, budgeting, marketing, branding, customer service, and financial literacy.
  • Guide students through creative projects such as developing a business concept or product pitch.
  • Encourage innovation, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident sharing ideas.
  • Supervise students throughout the program and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program coordinators.
  • Arrive prepared with lesson plans, instructional materials, and project resources.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, economics, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching, mentoring, coaching, or working with youth is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for helping young people develop leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, patient, and able to make business concepts engaging for middle school students.
