Publicis Media Sports & Entertainment, the sports and entertainment marketing division within Publicis Media, is searching for an Associate Director.  This position requires a highly motivated and entrepreneurial-minded person to lead the day-to-day consulting and management of client relationships and management around sports and entertainment property and media partnerships. The role includes both account management, as well as prospecting new business and new lines of business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day management and execution of integrated sports, entertainment, media, talent and cultural marketing partnerships.
  • Develop strategic recommendations rooted in client business objectives, consumer insights and marketplace opportunities.
  • Build end-to-end partnership strategies across sports, entertainment, music, gaming, creators, experiential and emerging media.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities that drive brand growth, fan engagement and measurable business outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients throughout partnership planning, negotiation, activation and optimization.
  • Collaborate across Publicis agencies including media, creative, data, analytics, commerce and production to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Lead partnership negotiations alongside rights holders, talent agencies, media companies, leagues, teams and entertainment properties.
  • Develop sponsorship valuation frameworks, investment recommendations, measurement plans and post-campaign analyses.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, deliverables and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sports properties, entertainment partners, media owners, talent representatives and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of client presentations, executive POVs, thought leadership and marketplace trend analyses.
  • Mentor junior team members while fostering collaboration, accountability and professional development.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends across sports, entertainment, creator economy, gaming, streaming, social media, AI and consumer culture to identify new opportunities for clients.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in sports marketing, entertainment marketing, partnership marketing, consulting, sponsorship strategy or integrated marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strategic partnerships across sports, entertainment, media, creators, gaming, music and/or experiential marketing.
  • Strong understanding of sponsorship strategy, valuation, activation, measurement and partnership optimization.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns involving media, digital, social, experiential and content.
  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment ecosystems including leagues, teams, talent agencies, media companies, streaming platforms, creators and cultural properties.
  • Strong client management and presentation skills with experience leading executive-level conversations.
  • Existing relationships across sports properties, entertainment organizations, media companies, agencies and industry partners preferred.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including media planning, investment, analytics, creative and production.
  • Highly strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced agency, consulting or brand environment managing multiple clients and priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and presentation development.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Passion for sports, entertainment, culture and emerging consumer trends.

 Compensation Range: USD $106,780.00 - USD $170,937.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
