Job description

Primary function is to serve as the link between our engineering team and our fabrication shop. Candidate must oversee dailey operations ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time and to quality standards. Candidate must have drafting skills in auto cad/inventor/solid works ect. This is a 50/50 hands on vs engineering position and will require both office and fabrication skills.

-Create and manage fabrication shop schedule through communication with company leadership, engineering department, and fabrication shop

-Generate shop drawings and cut-lists using design drawings from engineers

-Order, maintain, and track raw material inventory

-Order, maintain, and track consumable inventory

-Determine needed shop tools and supplies, purchase and ensure maintenance

-Maintain all shop tools, including all stationary power tools, machine tools, CNC machinery, compressed air system, and coordinate with outside vendors for machine repairs and maintenance as required

-Perform weld tests for new fabrication shop employees

-Manage day-to-day operation of fabrication shop

-Lead fabrication shop to ensure all project deadlines are met
