Job Summary: The Atlanta Hawks Live Entertainment & Production department is seeking a full-time Entertainment Teams Coordinator for the 2026-2027 season to support the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team and overall game day entertainment operations. This role will be responsible for leading dance team rehearsals, managing performance readiness, and ensuring seamless execution on game days. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and navigate a dynamic game and event schedule. This position will support the Manager and Coordinator of Entertainment Teams by overseeing key logistics including credentialing for talent and guests, managing and distributing all music needs for game day to internal teams and DJs, and serving as a central point of coordination to deliver polished, high-energy dance team performances.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Manager and lead Atlanta Hawks Dance Team rehearsals and performance readiness.
  • Manage all coordination for Atlanta Hawks Dance Team rehearsals, games and appearances.
  • Lead and run rehearsals, ensuring preparedness, performance quality, and alignment with game presentation needs.
  • Support choreography implementation and performance adjustments in collaboration with your manager and leadership.
  • Work with your manager to oversee dancer attendance, call times, and overall readiness for performances and appearances.

Assist with game day execution and lead credential access for talent and entertainment personnel.
  • Coordinate all game day responsibilities for the dance team, including game day schedule, timelines, and run of show alignment.
  • Ensure dancers are in place for all performances, appearances and on-court moments.
  • Work cross-functionally with Game Presentation, Production, and Entertainment teams to execute seamless performances.
  • Assist in real-time adjusmtnets on ame day to maintain show quality and timing.
  • Oversee credentials for dance team members, talent and approved guests, ensuring proper access and compliance.

Own music coordination, distribution, and administrative support for Entertainment operations.
  • Collect, organize, and manage all music tracks for dance team performances and in-game entertainment.
  • Send finalized music files to DJs and internal production teams with designated in-game timelines.
  • Ensure all music is properly labled, timed and delivered accurately for seamless execution.
  • Maintain rehearsal schedules, game day documents and team communications.
  • Assist with audtions, team events, and special projects, while supporting overall administrative needs.
  • Support reception desk coverage and front office needs during peak times or staff absences.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in entertainment, sports, live events, or dance team coordination.
  • Previous experience working with dance teams, cheer teams, or performance groups strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting rehearsals, talent coordination, or live event execution.
  • Familiarity with in arena or live production environments is a plus.
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Must be highly organized, resourceful, and detailed-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business Administration or a related field, or 2+ years of experience

Working Conditions:
  • Available to work various hours including evenings/nights, weekends and holidays

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Hours: Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
