Responsibilities

  • Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.
  • Provides comprehensive skin care consultation to evaluate skin condition and appearance to apply appropriate techniques and products.
  • Addresses the unique needs of each client in treating the facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance using specialized techniques and products, such as peels and masks.
  • Cleanse clients’ skin with water, creams, gels, and/or lotions to remove excess dirt, oil, makeup, and products.
  • Utilize steamer to detoxify the skin and open pores, performing simple extractions to remove blackheads with precision and care, as needed.
  • Inform and educate guests on new, innovative products, and facial services and programs to build a strong client base and promote health.
  • Demonstrate how to clean and care for skin properly and recommend any skin-care regimens.
  • Demonstrate and sell spa products and cosmetics.
  • Maintain the treatment rooms ensuring they are presentable, stocked and meet sanitation requirements.
  • Greets guests and offers instruction and assistance with spa facilities.
  • Follow all safety procedures. Immediately notifies security and supervisor of accidents and potential safety hazards.
  • Maintains adequate supply of towels and sundry items. Monitors inventory and notifies manager when ordering is necessary.
  • All other duties assigned and required to help enhance the spa.

Requirements

  • CO Esthetician License
  • One (1) year experience as a licensed esthetician, cosmetician, beautician, or related occupation
  • Training in facial and body waxing, body treatments, Glycolic Acid Facials, body/hand treatments and paraffin treatments and light body massage techniques.
  • Knowledge of a variety of skin care products and modalities.
  • Strong problem solving, decision making and consulting skills.
  • Superior customer service skills
  • This position works in an environment that is subject to varying levels noise and crowds, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
  • This position is required to work around Jacuzzis and steam rooms and is subjected to extreme heat and wet and/or humid conditions.
  • This position is physical in nature and requires the incumbent to bend, reach and have good finger dexterity to perform massages effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers alike.
  • Ability to move effectively and efficiently through the spa.
  • Ability to lift up to ten pounds to move towels and clean up the work area.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
