Job description

Coming soon to the Las Vegas Strip, Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a fully integrated luxury resort offering world-class hospitality, gaming, dining, entertainment and retail. Positioned on the 50-yard line of the Strip, the resort will feature a nearly 700 ft. guitar-shaped hotel that will change the Las Vegas skyline. The finished complex will feature over 3,700 hotel rooms, approximately 175,000 square feet of gaming space, two spas, multiple pools, live entertainment venues and dozens of restaurants, lounges and retail outlets.

The SVP, Entertainment & Event Marketing at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas serves as the senior executive leader responsible for leading the integrated marketing strategy across all entertainment and event programming. This role provides visionary leadership to elevate brand presence, drive guest engagement, strengthen market competitiveness, and maximize revenue across all business channels. As a key member of the executive leadership team and guardian of the Hard Rock brand, this leader ensures all entertainment and marketing initiatives are strategically aligned to enterprise objectives while anticipating industry trends, evolving consumer behaviors, and competitive dynamics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute an enterprise-wide entertainment and event marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, revenue targets, and long-term growth.
  • Own the strategic marketing direction for all concerts, residencies, special events, citywide partnerships, and on-property activations, ensuring a dynamic, revenue-driving event calendar that maximizes occupancy, gaming performance, and total resort spend.
  • Own the strategic positioning and monetization of major citywide and global events (e.g., Formula 1, Super Bowl, Final Four, marquee conventions), leveraging these high-impact moments to drive premium demand, create signature on-property activations, and establish Hard Rock Las Vegas as a must-visit destination during peak market opportunities.
  • Drive the integrated marketing strategy for all on-property entertainment experiences, including casino events, non-gaming activations, celebrity-driven programming, nightlife, and special events-ensuring cohesive campaigns that elevate brand relevance, maximize cross-property spend, and enhance both mass and VIP guest engagement.
  • Provide executive oversight of all marketing, advertising, and brand communications tied to entertainment and event programming, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact across all channels.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Casino Operations, Player Development, Hotel, F&B, and Entertainment teams to define target audiences and deliver compelling, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Drive seamless integration of entertainment, casino marketing, and player development initiatives, ensuring alignment of event programming with VIP strategies, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Optimize the use of budgets, technology, external agencies, talent partnerships, and internal resources to maximize effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage market research, guest data, segmentation insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Own financial performance for the division, including budget management, ROI optimization, and performance measurements across all marketing and entertainment initiatives.
  • Guide the evolution of brand positioning, storytelling, and creative direction to ensure a bold, differentiated, and consistent market presence.
  • Partner with talent buyers, promoters, and external partners to maximize the commercial and brand impact of entertainment programming.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team across marketing, entertainment, and event strategy.
  • Serve as a senior brand ambassador, representing the organization internally and externally while reinforcing Hard Rock's culture, service standards, and guest experience expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Extensive experience in senior-level marketing leadership, ideally within a casino, resort, entertainment, or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing large-scale marketing and entertainment strategies.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale operations.
  • High proficiency in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and modern marketing technologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Deep understanding of brand development, market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
  • Frequent communication and coordination activities.
  • Occasional lifting, transporting, and handling of materials.
  • Ability to adapt to temperature changes and atmospheric conditions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
