Description:Music + Entertainment Events Staff (Seasonal Part-Time)Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a 365-entertainment destination for world-class events located in Austin, TX. The sports and entertainment portfolio at COTA is unmatched in the country with Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR and MotoGP attracting global fans during championship races on the famed Circuit and Live Nation producing over 30 headline concerts every year at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater. Opening in 2026, COTA’s amusement park is a 20-acre theme park featuring two first of their kind Roller Coasters and over three dozen rides.

Job Description:

Music and Entertainment Event Staff support front gate and front of house operations during concerts and events at COTA + Germania Insurance Amphitheater. This part-time, seasonal role is essential to ensuring a seamless, safe, and engaging experience for all guests during concerts and events. Staff may be assigned to positions at entry gates or throughout the venue's interior, depending on event needs. Responsibilities include ticket scanning, guest assistance, crowd flow monitoring, and ADA support. Staff must be available to work at least 50% of scheduled events throughout the season.



Requirements:

Requirements & Essential Functions

• Operate handheld scanners to check tickets and credentials at gates or venue checkpoints

• Greet and assist guests with directions, venue information, and general support

• Monitor crowd flow and ensure aisles, ramps, and walkways remain clear

• Assist guests with ADA accommodations and ensure accessible access

• Report safety concerns, guest issues, or housekeeping needs to FOH Manager or Command Center

• Remain at assigned post unless on a scheduled break

• Follow all venue policies, procedures, and emergency protocols

• Maintain a professional, friendly, and guest-focused demeanor at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • Part-time, seasonal position (must be available to work at least 50% of events)
  • 2+ years of experience in guest services, hospitality, live events, or related fields preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Available evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the season
  • Must be over 18 years of age


Physical Demand & Work Environments:

  • Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
  • Work in extreme environments outdoors throughout the year.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud during events.
