IT Project Manager

Our client is looking for a senior, hands-on Project Manager who can bring order to a complex, multi-stakeholder program, rebuild internal confidence in IT delivery, and keep executives, vendors, and business teams aligned from kickoff through go-live. Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Newport Beach, CA

Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $70-$75/hr

What You'll Do:


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of an enterprise Rental Management System replacement, alongside concurrent CRM implementation and data lake build-out
  • Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, milestones, and dependencies across multiple business groups
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders and hold vendors and implementation partners accountable to deliverables, timelines, and quality
  • Establish basic project governance and PMO structure where none currently exists
  • Provide clear, honest status and risk reporting to the CIO and C-level executives

What Gets You the Job:


  • PMP certification, active and maintained throughout the engagement
  • 7+ years of hands-on IT project management delivering complex, enterprise-wide implementations
  • Demonstrated experience leading at least one large-scale RMS, ERP, reservation, POS, or other 24/7 operational/transactional system replacement
  • Strong executive-level communication, able to present status and risk credibly to C-suite audiences
  • Active use of AI or AI-enabled tools in your work is very highly preferred; data lake/warehouse, CRM, or ERP project experience a plus
