ENTEK is seeking applications for a Fabricated Metal Products Team Member role to join us on-site at our Lebanon, Oregon, location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).


Fabricated Metal Products team members are responsible for assembling, welding, and filling hip cans of various sizes and configurations in accordance with blueprints, work instructions, and standard work documentation. Team members will work and participate in a continuous improvement work environment, with the goal of improving work processes, product quality, and the work environment.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic welding skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to self-manage behavior.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret supplied documentation and instructions.
  • Experience using various hand tools, power tools, and load-moving equipment (i.e., pallet jack, dolly, forklift, etc.).
  • Satisfactory results from a pre-employment fit-for-duty screen and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tig, SMAW, & GMAW welding process.
  • Welding and fabrication of Ferrous and non-ferrous metal.

Working Environment

The typical hours for this role are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.


This role is based in a machine shop environment, which may require the employee to work with or be near equipment that uses high heat / mechanical means to create metal-based products. The incumbent will spend most of their 8-hour shift on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and tools/and equipment, talking, and hearing, as well as near and far sight, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and/or balance. The role may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and airborne particles, as well as temporarily high temperatures and temporarily bright light. This role requires wearing eye and hearing protection while working, including a welding helmet or hood.
