POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Enrollment Strategy works 52 weeks per year, 8 hours per day. 

SALARY
Salary will be commensurate with the level of education and experience of the recommended candidate.

Retirement:
This position will automatically be enrolled in the Public Employees Retirement Fund (PERF) through the state of Indiana, which includes a defined benefit (Pension) as well as an Annuity Savings Account (ASA).  In addition, this position is eligible to enroll in a 401(a) retirement investment plan, a 403(b) Match Program, and a tax-free post-retirement medical expense account (VEBA).
Additional Benefits:
Employees enrolled in an EVSC medical insurance plan are eligible to use our Health & Wellness Centers conveniently located within the community.  These are no-cost health clinics that provide primary care treatment, generic prescription medications (at no cost),  physicals, health screenings, and labs.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of Enrollment Strategy for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) leads the strategic marketing efforts of the EVSC, with a focus on student enrollment, recruitment, and retention. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that promote EVSC schools, academic programs, career pathways, fine arts, athletics, and district initiatives. The Director of Enrollment Strategy will strengthen the district's brand, enhance staff recruitment efforts, and elevate EVSC's reputation within the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports EVSC's strategic priorities and long-term vision, with a focus on student enrollment recruitment and retention across the district.
  • Strengthen and maintain EVSC's brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual standards across all schools, departments, and platforms.
  • Understand and maximize the available features of artificial intelligence (A.I.) tools to support and strengthen the marketing strategy.
  • Utilize analytics and engagement metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and guide strategy.
  • Implement paid digital marketing campaigns and utilize metrics to make decisions regarding specific campaigns.
  • Work with school principals and program leaders to align marketing messages with school enrollment goals.
  • Identify opportunities to promote EVSC achievements, innovative programs, and student success stories throughout the community and region.
  • Create district-wide marketing campaigns that support district initiatives and community awareness.
  • Partner with the Human Resources department to develop marketing campaigns that attract high-quality teachers, administrators, and support staff.
  • Manage campaign timelines, messaging calendars, and content planning.
  • Assist in promoting district events, initiatives, and partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the Chief Communication Officer regarding marketing outcomes and opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain regular attendance.

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff and the school community
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Trustees policies
  • Ability to develop and manage multi-platform marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and marketing analytics.

  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
  • Possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, fact or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes communication and effectiveness

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably involving strategic marketing, branding, and campaign development. Experience working in or supporting K12 education is considered an asset.
