Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour, plus tips, as well as up to an additional $2/hour for certain shifts worked after midnight

Summary
The Bartender is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and delivering warm, welcoming hospitality. Reporting to the Shack Manager, the Bartender ensures responsible alcohol service, maintains a clean and well-stocked bar, and upholds food safety standards. This position is part of the general tip pool and is critical to creating an efficient, vibrant, and guest-focused bar experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Embodies enlightened hospitality by leading interactions with genuine warmth and care towards both team members and guests
  • Checks identification of Guests to verify age requirement for purchase of alcohol
  • Mixes drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with Shake Shack recipes and standards
  • Uses proper measuring tools when making all bar drinks
  • Serves Guests responsibly and notifies a manager if a Guest is acting suspicious
  • Ensures the bar is consistently clean, stocked and organized
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of guests and team members

  • Adaptability to various roles within the restaurant and bar
  • Consistently demonstrates integrity by doing the right thing and taking accountability
