Job description


This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Washington-Liberty High School for SY27.
Qualifications
  • Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
  • English as a Second Language PreK-12 certification required.
  • Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education is preferred but not required.
  • Dual certification in math and science strongly preferred

Experience
  • Teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas.
  • Knowledge of best instructional practices.
  • Ability to integrate technology.
  • Experience in educational and instructional leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with colleagues.
  • Flexible, dependable, and highly organized.
  • Desire to work with diverse community of learners.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with APS English Learner program models and assessment procedures for English learner students.

Salary range: $56,458-$144,723
