Job Description:
  • We are looking for Application Development and Deployment Lead to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer. In this role, you will support the planning, testing, and execution, and deployment of system and software releases.

The Application Development and Deployment Lead shall posses the following capabilities:
  • Expand data strategy to ensure new and existing pipelines are implemented, maintained, and documented.
  • Collaborate with developers, system, engineers, and test engineers in a cross functional team to ensure data availability for the organization and downstream consumers.
  • Develop scalable strategies to include best practices, guidelines, and governance of data systems.
  • Develop and implement data integrations for the organizations' products
  • Plan, test, and execute builds, testing, and deployment of system and software releases; deliver telecommunications patches, upgrades, and configurations (logical and physical).
  • Implement baseline configuration changes, additions, and deletions.
    Desired:
  • Master's Degree in any of the below disciplines.
  • Ten (10) years of experience working in the DoD.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience programming with AngularJS, JavaScript, Java, HTML, CSS.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and NoSQL data solutions, SQL and other query languages.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
  • Experience with data visualization, aggregation and reporting tools such as: PowerBI, Tableau.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cloud Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity and five (5) years of combined programming experience in object-oriented programming languages and web application technologies and integration.
  • Demonstrated six (6) years of experience in application design, development and deployment of classified DoD systems of similar scope or complexity.
  • Six (6) years of combined experience in Sponsor's Amazon Web Services environment (C2S or C2E) cloud systems administration, containerization, cloud environment management, and compliance assessments.
  • Experience with Agile requirements management and sprint planning for technical IT development teams.
  • Experience with SecDevOps tools, such as CI/CD, code repositories, testing suites.
  • Certified in AWS or equivalent cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with DoD Targeting Tools and Architecture.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
Pay Range: 260,000-310,000
