Electro-Mechanical Engineer 

About Us

We are a family-owned manufacturing company that has been in business for over 40 years. Specializing in a full range of custom manufacturing products including metal fabrication and turnkey electro-mechanical assembly, we produce products for a host of customers across a diverse array of industries. We are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our team on-site at our Rocky Gap, VA facility.

Responsibilities

-Plan, conceptualize and create mechanical designs for new products

-Create and review technical drawings, plans and specifications using computer software

-Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and work with vendors and contractors

-Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget

-Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes

Requirements and Skills

 - 2–4-year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field

- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Excel

- Experience with AutoCAD, CAD software, Solid Works and Solid Edge (preferred)

- Excellent math skills, ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems

- Excellent technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

- Use calipers and tape measure to create 3D modeling

- Ability to understand and follow all safety rules and regulations

- Hands on mechanical background

- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
