Job description

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Construction Material Testing (CMT) team in Grand Prairie, Texas. Individuals in this position will work directly with Project Managers and Engineering Staff.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Training new field staff
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Developing and maintaining Client relationships
  • Coordination of personnel and equipment
  • Conducting critical observations and material testing
  • Preparation of CMT proposals
  • Preparation of final inspection reports
  • Regular field work should be expected

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-5 years CMT experience
  • Certifications such as NICET, ICC, ACI, etc. are preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is a plus, but not required
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record and reliable transportation
