Client: Financial Giant Firm Role: Technical Writer – FrameMaker Duration: 04 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance) Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 - Hybrid 3 Day Onsite Pay: ($45 - $50) on an hourly basis Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with strong hands-on Ado be FrameMaker expertise to support a technical publications team. This role will be responsible for creating, updating, maintaining, formatting, and publishing complex technical documentation, manuals, and product publications. The ideal candidate can independently interpret existing source materials, manage documentation updates with minimal guidance, collaborate with technical stakeholders, and deliver high-quality documentation within tight timelines. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist. Strong hands-on experience with Ado be FrameMaker. Experience creating and maintaining complex technical documentation, manuals, or product publications. Strong knowledge of technical writing, editing, document formatting, and publication processes. Experience producing professional-quality PDFs and published documentation. Ability to independently manage documentation updates and multiple priorities. Experience working with SharePoint, Confluence, MS Teams, and MS Office. Strong communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills. Responsibilities: Create, update, and maintain technical documentation and product publications using Adobe FrameMaker. Independently revise existing documentation while supporting new documentation initiatives. Edit, format, and produce professional-quality PDF publications. Ensure documentation meets established writing, formatting, quality, and consistency standards. Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information. Manage documentation within SharePoint and shared document environments. Track progress, communicate project status, and meet assigned deadlines. Support fast-turnaround documentation requests and publication stabilization activities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AEM Guides. Knowledge of XML/DITA and structured authoring. Experience supporting content migration projects. Familiarity with Jira and Agile/Kanban environments. Experience in engineering, software, manufacturing, telecommunications, or other technical industries.
