JOB DETAILS:

  • Location: Austin, TX
  • Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), in an onsite work structure throughout the duration of the Intern term.
  • Duration: Fall, September 13, 2027 December 10, 2027 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

We are seeking highly motivated Silicon Design Engineering Intern to join our team. In this role:

  • New product bring-up support
  • Assist in debug of issues
  • Develop/contribute to diagnostic framework including FW for IP training, margining and debug
  • Improve automation/testing capabilities

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You are currently enrolled in a United States based University in a Graduate program majoring in Electrical/Computer Engineering
    • Solid understanding of High-speed I/O design experience, including understanding of Tx (transceiver), Rx (Receiver), PLL (phase lock loop)/DLL, Clocking, Equalization techniques and circuits, Training algorithms and Firmware
    • Good teamwork and communication skills, strong analytical/problem solving, statistical analysis, attention to details, and able to work independently.
  • Python and/or Perl programming
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS as well as Windows
  • Laboratory experience, including hands-on use of equipment: Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, BERT, Logic analyzers, etc.
