College Graduate - Rotational Engineering Program (REP) - start date July 2027 in Torrance, CA

Mercury Systems is seeking a recent college graduate to join our Rotational Engineering Program, a dynamic opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology that supports the American Warfighter. As a Software REP Engineer,you'll join a collaborative engineering team focused on designing, developing, integrating, and testing software and firmware solutions for embedded and enterprise systems. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test software
• Develop and maintain software and firmware test suites to verify systemcapabilities and requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance and support project development
• Partner with systems engineering, and customer support teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues
• Support design teams in bring-up and system-level validation of products
• Contribute innovative ideas and state of the art thinking to improve business performance
• Deliver leading edge, integrated solutions that meet customer needs
• Participate in programs, projects, and initiatives aligned with Mercury's culture and strategy
• Stay informed on industry trends and ensure Mercury's best practices are met or exceeded
• Rotate through multiple technical disciplines to broaden skills and experience

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering or computer science obtainedbetween May 2026 and June 2027

• A minimum GPA of 3.1 is required. You will be asked to submit your transcripts during the review process

• Prior Co-Op or internship experience

• Experience with embedded programming on hardware
• Experience with C/C++
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, internships, or process improvements
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with lab equipment for data collection and processing
• Experience with C# or RUST
• Experience with Python
• Experience working in Linux environments
