Program Manager


Our client, a leader in precision tool & die, metal stampings, and insert molding, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex manufacturing programs from concept through production. This role partners closely with engineering, tooling, stamping, and molding teams to ensure technical excellence, on‑time launches, and strong customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Drive full program lifecycle, timelines, and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Coordinate tooling design/build, stamping trials, and molding validations.
  • Lead PPAP, production readiness, and customer communication.
  • Manage risks, cost performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or product design (R&D) environment within medical, automotive or aerospace.
  • Experience with product design, program/project management, and understanding of tight-tolerance manufactured products is required within medical, automotive, and aerospace.
  • Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
  • Understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning preferable.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and methods also preferable.
  • Knowledge of GMP/ISO Quality Systems required in medical automotive and aerospace.
  • Knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of progressive metal stamping and/or insert molding processes desirable.
  • Participate actively in a team-oriented environment. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams whenever necessary with ability to lead in all areas of a manufacturing organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • Able to create Gantt charts including: creation and linking of tasks, assigning of resources, tracking of tasks, and progress reporting.
  • Knowledge of MRP or ERP software preferable.
  • Demonstrated customer interfacing skills, including “soft skills” needed to facilitate technical sales.
