Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

To perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to clinical physics support, computer treatment planning, QA-chart and calculation checks, machine calibrations, brachytherapy treatment planning and source management, and dosimetry.
 

*External offers made for this position are eligible to receive a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus.*

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

1)    Master's Degree in a Physical Science or Engineering

Experience:

1)    Three to five years' experience in a hospital based or free standing Radiation Oncology Center.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

1)    Must have ability to work cooperatively with other personnel in the department and the Medical Center.

License/Certification/Registration:

1)    Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics through either the American Board of Medical Physics or the American Board of Radiology.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives minimal supervision from the Administrative Director, Radiation Oncology.

SUPERVISION GIVEN

None.
