Role: Engineering Manager

What the role looks like
  • 80% people leadership / strategy, 20% technical contribution
  • Managing teams of ~10–15 engineers
  • Driving delivery, execution, and engineering culture
  • Partnering closely with Product & Design on roadmap and architecture
  • Hiring, onboarding, and scaling engineering teams
Ideal Candidate Profile

We need strong startup EMs with real ownership experience, ideally:

  • 7–10+ years engineering experience
  • 3+ years as an Engineering Manager
  • Currently or recently managing 8–15 engineers
  • Background in Series A–D startups (fintech, AI, SaaS, B2B strongly preferred)
  • Strong system design capability
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally fintech / payments / billing / revenue systems
  • Comfortable working on-site in NYC 5 days per week
