Job description

  • Guide the development and implementation of lighting fixtures and connected lighting projects covering mechanical, electrical, software, testing, and regulatory work
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects from concept to commercial implementation
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to document project scope and objectives
  • Maintain project plans aligned with the stage gate product development process
  • Integrate business, marketing, and technology elements into a cohesive project vision and team charter
  • Manage project and product definition activities related to marketing and/or technical requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in project or engineering management
  • Knowledge of new mechanical/electrical product development and market introductions
  • Proficiency with project management tools, including MS Project
  • Proven track record of managing new product development through a stage gate process is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
  • Successful experience working across functional groups
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
