  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams on complex transit and highway bridge projects from concept through construction.  
  • Champion innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in bridge design and delivery.  
  • Drive strategic growth, develop client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.  
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-career engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. 
  • Represent Arup at industry events, conferences, and client presentations. 
  • Seamlessly collaborate with experts across the globe.

Is this role right for you?

  • 18+ years' experience in bridge engineering, with a proven record of delivering large-scale projects.  
  • Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred.  
  • P.Eng. registration in Ontario (other provinces an asset).  
  • Advanced proficiency in structural analysis and design software (such as Midas, CSiBridge), coupled with deep expertise in local design codes and standards, including MTO, Metrolinx, AREMA, CSA, and construction specifications. 
  • Experience with alternative delivery models (PDB, Alliance, DB, P3) and multi-stakeholder coordination.  
  • Strong business development acumen and client relationship management skills.

Toronto Hiring Range - Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $190,000 to $220,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
