Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician to support the deployment, maintenance, and logistics of test equipment in engineering lab environments. This role is critical to ensuring equipment is installed, operational, and readily available to support engineering teams and project timelines.

This position is evolving with AI-enabled tools to improve equipment reliability, optimize calibration, and reduce downtime.You will directly enable engineering productivity by ensuring test equipment is reliable, accessible, and optimized—while helping transition engineering technical operations from reactive support to data-driven, predictive performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and deploy test equipment and bench test set ups.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibration tracking, and general diagnostics
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and support root-cause analysis
  • Manage equipment logistics (transport, tracking, and inventory)
  • Maintain accurate asset records in centralized systems
  • Ensure lab readiness, safety, and compliance (ESD, quality standards)
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to engineers during testing
  • Document procedures, maintenance activities, and equipment status
  • Use AI-enabled tools to monitor equipment performance, identify trends, and support predictive maintenance
  • Support data collection and validation to improve equipment analytics and AI-driven insights


Education Requirement

·Associate's degree or High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.

Technical Skills

Must Have

·Familiarity with calibration, maintenance, and inventory processes

·Hands-on experience with test equipment setup, troubleshooting, or lab support

Nice To Have

·Experience in engineering lab or test environments

·Experience working with equipment data, logs, or performance dashboards

·Knowledge of Industry Test and ESD standards

Physical Requirements

•Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
