Join a high-impact Air Dominance production team as our Mechanical Review Board Design Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX. This is a critical priority-to-fill position supporting the manufacturing of advanced missile system components. You will play a vital role in resolving production challenges and ensuring the highest standards of product quality, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, solutions-driven environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Serve as a key contributor in the Material Review Board (MRB) process, evaluating non-conforming hardware for performance impact.
- Identify root causes of production issues, defects, or failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with Mechanical, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to coordinate investigations and solutions.
- Lead and document investigative efforts, reporting status updates to interdisciplinary team members and leadership.
- Participate in weekly meetings, providing progress reports and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5).
- Proficient in Creo design software (at least 2 years).
- Demonstrated root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Skilled in reading engineering drawings, documents, parts lists, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership in investigative and reporting efforts within interdisciplinary teams.
