Overview

Responsible for the planning and conduct of major engineering projects related to the design, application, or support of the Division's products. This may include such functions as:  product design and technical definition, modification, technical support of product line, and problem resolution. Additionally, responsible for assigning drafting/design duties for specified product line.


Responsibilities
  • Specification and drawing review.
  • Control system design.
  • Engineering checkout.
  • Technical support of manufacturing & startup.
  • Experience with PLC’s and loop controllers in process application.
  • Must possess thorough and relevant product knowledge.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required.
  • Creates engineering specifications, revises and documents methods and procedures, authorizes changes, and evaluates costs and progress of assigned project.
  • Performs work which includes conventional plans or equipment for which there are precedents.
  • Must have advanced knowledge and ability to utilize computer design equipment and programs in order to effectively create and/or modify drawings.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Make contacts that involve controversy where practices and procedures and/or methods do not provide precise direction as to desired outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or another related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years in required field preferred.
