Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. The IT Technician will provide onsite technical support at a remote mine site, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all technology systems that support mining operations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and specialized mining equipment interfaces.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a highdemand, fastpaced environment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of operating systems and applications.
• Support minesite users with connectivity issues, authentication, VPN access, and account management.
• Maintain network equipment including switches, access points, routers, and fiber/copper connections.
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with maintaining reliable communication systems, including VoIP, radios, and industrial wireless networks used in mining operations.
• Support field equipment such as rugged tablets, PLC interfaces, fleetmanagement hardware, and sensors used for production, dispatch, and safety monitoring.
