  • Plan, schedule, and procure external test resource facilities when necessary.
  • Personally oversee the execution of external tests (e.g., EMI compliance to MIL-STD-461).
  • Review Qualification and Design Engineering Test processes for opportunities to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Develop and standardize qualification test procedure and report templates for future use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from project inception to final product delivery, ensuring optimal project performance.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical schematic capture or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-recognized drafting and electrical CAD standards.
  • Familiarity with industry specifications, including NEMA and UL standards.
  • Experience working with 480 VAC, 3-phase power systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MIL-DTL-2212.
  • Knowledge of power systems and/or industrial automation & controls.

  • Proficient in reviewing and improving test processes for quality and cost efficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple test activities simultaneously.
  • Hands-on personality with a focus on safety and compliance in the test lab and shop floor environments.
  • Familiarity with standard office productivity and EDA tools (e.g., MS Office, schematic capture).

Work Environment:

This position involves approximately 60% of the time spent in a standard office environment and 40% in an engineering test lab or external qualification test facility. Proper safety equipment, including eye protection, must be worn when in the lab or on the shop floor.
