We are seeking a Senor Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SETC) team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in the development and documentation of requirements and interfaces, as well as design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring system compliance through the documentation and execution of system verification processes.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and document requirements and interfaces, design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration and trade studies
  • Coordinate with a cross-discipline team to meet customer/mission planning requirements
  • Ensure Statement of Work (SOW) compliance through system verification documentation and execution
  • Integrate software and hardware subsystems
  • Apply a structured data driven approach to solve problems
  • Contribute to project/program milestones with little oversight
  • Follow established System Engineering processes and procedures
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers in the execution of tasks and assignments."

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems engineering experience
  • Requirements management and development of systems engineering products, including system-level specifications, requirement allocation spreadsheets, and verification cross-reference matrices
  • Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • MATLAB and Python, with the ability to read and interpret scripts for system analysis and verification
  • Experience delivering technical briefs to subcontractors, senior executives, and customers
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve technical problems in an environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps)
  • Experience in preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and in writing

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
