Job description


The Client is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Systems Architect in the Information Technology Division. The Systems Architect will analyze system requirements and design solutions considering existing standards, rules and regulations. Also, the position spearheads the creation and implementation of new systems and the updating of existing systems. This position will be a member of our DRIVES implementation team with responsibilities including providing technical support for the DRIVESenvironment as well as architect and documenting solutions around the DRIVES environment, Additionally, responsibilities include support for development, participation in support of the DRIVES database environment, analyzing agency applications, interfaces, networks, programs, and operations, evaluating existing systems, and designing proposed systems/solutions.
Skill Set
Competencies: • Advanced knowledge of application programming, web and software applications, infrastructure and networking. • Advanced knowledge in enterprise system design and support processes. • Ability to conceptualize and articulate alternatives for problem resolution. • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization. Preferred Qualifications (attach additional pages if necessary): 1. 8 years of experience with various IT hardware and software solutions, analyzing systems and requirements, and developing integrated complex IT solutions. 2. Advanced knowledge of application programming, web and software applications, infrastructure and networking. 3. 5 years of experience in architecting solutions in an environment using .NET with Oracle and/or SQL Server DBMS. 4. Experience with Oracle's Exadata hardware. 5. Extensive knowledge supporting VB.NET applications in an environment utilizing Oracle and/or microsoft platforms
