Job description

Chemistry Patent Agent

Lateral candidates only please, those coming directly from another large firm currently practicing in this same practice group. Prestige firm only looking for the best of the best. School transcripts may be required for consideration.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in chemical engineering or chemistry
  • Registration with the USPTO
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with patent prosecution, drafting patent applications, and due diligence
  • Direct and applicable experience in a large or mid-sized law firm

Hybrid with some in-office expectations or remote (as appropriate). Some travel required.

Boston, MA, San Diego, CA, Palo Alto, CA, Seattle, WA, or Philadelphia, PA office.

Expected hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $225,000 per year depending on the candidateโ€™s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidateโ€™s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.   • Conduct background research
