What does an engineer mfg do?

An Engineer Mfg, or Manufacturing Engineer, is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes in a factory or production environment. They work to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality by optimizing equipment, workflow, and production methods. Manufacturing Engineers often collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to solve problems and introduce new technologies. Their goal is to ensure that products are made safely, efficiently, and at high quality standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an engineer mfg?

To thrive as a Manufacturing Engineer, you need a solid background in engineering principles, process optimization, and quality control, generally supported by a bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
